Lean

This has multiple meanings in the corporate world but the primary use of the word means to reduce the number of workers through layoffs–often referred to as “cutting off the fat.” The less common uses reference Lean Six Sigma–the process improvement methodology and Lean Startup—a mythology of creating a new company quickly
